INSEAD Mette Roed Heyerdahl Memorial Scholarship

This Scholarship has been awarded in memory of Mette Roed Heyerdahl, a Norwegian lawyer who, amongst other things, worked on women's legal rights in cooperation with legal organisations in Palestine, Nepal and Uganda.


One scholarship is awarded in each MBA class. 

Eligibility:
Women from Palestine and other countries in the Middle East (including Turkey), or Uganda or Nepal, who are committed to a career in their country/region.

Essay topic :
1).In 350-400 words (a) state why you feel an INSEAD MBA is relevant to your particular career needs, (b) explain how you envisage contributing to the future development of your country/region after graduation.
2).In 150-200 words provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year e.g. details of income (such as your income, investment income, savings, property rentals,etc) set against details of expenditure (such as local outgoings, INSEAD fees, rent living expenses). How do you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain a scholarship or financial aid from INSEAD?

Amount of Award:
Up to €12,000

Scholarship Application Deadline:
13 February each year for the Round 1 and 2 applicants of the July Class (starts in September).
10 May each year for Round 3 applicants of the July class
22 August for the December Class (starts in January)
5 October for Round 3 applicants of the December Class
